Business Development Directors (Equity Ownership Opportunities) Opening in Manchester and Southampton
£65,000 - £95,000 per annum plus EQUITY
(The opportunities include Equity in the business). 20% initially, then 25%, 30% to a maximum of 40%.

A heavily expending, agile multi-modal freight forwarder are looking for two strong Business Development DIRECTORS to open up new businesses in two new locations.
Based on specific financial targets, they offer a good slice of the equity.
13 offices currently, in just 8 years (Incredible growth).

Experience needed:
Any freight forwarding sales experience as they are involved in European Road, Air, Sea, both import and export.
The company will allow you to interview and recruit your own team, building a strong support base from below.

For example: Are you a high performing new business sales person in road, air or ocean freight, who has not been given the opportunity to get into management, or are you currently a Manager (involved in new business sales), wanting a new challenge?

National Senior BDM - Sales Director Level (Circ. £100K basic) SOUTH EAST
£75,000 - £100,000 basic + commission
My client has been established over 40 years, and are one of the best companies in the UK for Retail Freight forwarding and Supply Chain (end-to-end). They are a fairly large company with 20 offices globally with hi-tech logistics hubs, close to $2bn turnover globally and over 1,000 staff. The company offer a profit share scheme for people who contribute value to the business, and they recognise talent. The company have developed a suite of logistics capabilities and infrastructure to service customers around the world
The Role:
A very senior BDM (Director Level) role concentrating on securing new SME customers in the fashion and retail industry (mostly imports). The customers would likely be the 2nd tier, 3rd tier suppliers manufacturers to the large high street chains.
They would be open to air and ocean accounts, or other niche services too.
They would like someone to join the team who is happy doing new business, and someone who has been successful in securing SME accounts in the retail and fashion sector in the last 3 - 15 years.
This could very well lead to a Director's role in the first 12 months.
Corporate National Sales Manager - £100K - £150K (South)
£90,000 - £150,000 per annum + benefits
My client are an excellent medium sized freight forwarder (£200m), who are looking for someone who can secure large accounts in the International Freight marketplace (end-to-end supply chain solution).
They appreciate that it takes longer to secure these accounts.
Salary is excellent at about £110K - £150K + commission + benefits.
Key responsibilities:
Secure tenders for large contracts with any verticals including pharma, electronics, medical equipment, retail, manufacturing etc.
Present at board level and travel overseas with customers.
Develop lanes globally
Develop global commercial strategy

Business Development ManagerÂ
(South East / South West)
£55,000 - £75,000 + amazing commission scheme
This cash rich, niche forwarder, are offering something that is different from the competition. The owners allow the ability for a good sales person to earn commission on business for the life of the account, once you have covered 1 times your cost. Commission is 7.5% or 15% of GP for the life of the account. One BDM has been with the business for about 5 years, and is currently earning about £40K on top of a good basic, working a 3 day week. They treat their staff like adults, they can work from home, everyone has a voice, they support, mentor and train their staff.
European Road Freight BDM / Branch Manager
(South West)
£50,000 - £70,000 + commission and benefits.
This company are growing very quickly organically and through acquisition.
They are looking for someone to open an office in the South Wales / South West area who has a proven track record of winning business. If successful in their sales, within 6-9 months, the company will open the branch.
They have done this twice in the last 3 years, and are keen to develop a strong UK network of offices with a local presence.
